Day 20: Water marbled

I decided to only do water marble on my ring finger as an accent. I used the same pink color as I did on the rest of the fingers, but because it's white color also, it looks like a lighter pink.

Jag bestämde mig för att bara göra water marble på mitt ringfinger som en accent. Jag använde samma rosa nagellack som jag har på de andra fingrarna, men eftersom det är vitt i också, så ser det ut att vara ett ljusare rosa nagellack.

Day 19: Galaxies

I love these galaxy nails, but it's hard to make them look good. The first picture is from today, and the second picture is taken a couple of months ago. It looks much better on the second picture.

Jag älskar de här rymdnaglarna, men det är svårt att få dem att se bra ut. Den första bilden är från idag, och den andra bilden är tagen för några månader sedan. Det ser mycket bättre ut på den andra bilden!

Day 18: Half moons

I've chosen to show you the same picture as I showed you on Day 7 when the challenge was black and white nails. Today it's the half moon-challenge, and I'm too tired to do anything else today. I work this weekend so you just have to live with it, haha. Tomorrow I will show you my galaxy nails, love 'em!

Idag får ni se samma bild som jag tog inför den sjunde dagens utmaning då det var svartvita naglar som gällde. Idag är det halvmåne-utmaning, och jag är för trött för att göra något. Det är min jobbhelg så ni får helt enkelt leva med det, haha. Imorgon ska jag visa er mina galaxynaglar, jag älskar dem!

Day 17: Glitter

I bought Isadoras Black Galaxy last week and I really have looked forward too show you this one. Actually I have already painted it on my toenails, but it didn't feel okay to show you them, haha. I love it, it sparkles and is black, my favourite color!

Jag köpte det här lacket från Isadora förra veckan, det heter Black Galaxy. Jag har sett fram emot att få visa er det här. Jag har faktiskt redan målat det på mina tånaglar men det kändes inte okej att visa er dem, haha. Jag älskar det! Det glittrar och är svart, min favoritfärg!

Day 16: Tribal print

I haven't looked forward to todays challenge. It felt to difficult, so I decided to only do the tribal print on my ring finger. And I think it would have been to messy if I had done it on all my nails. But on one nail, it looks nice!

Jag har verkligen inte sett fram emot dagens utmaning. Det kändes alldeles för svårt för mig, så jag bestämde mig för att bara göra dagens utmaning på mitt ringfinger. Och jag tror att det hade blivit alldeles för rörigt om jag gjort det på alla fingrar. Men på en nagel ser det faktiskt helt okej ut!

Day 15: Delicate print

Still haven't figured out what to do for todays (or actually yesterdays) challenge, so I have decided to show you an old design - it's water marble art, I think it's delicate.

Jag har fortfarande inte lyckats bestämma mig för vad jag skulle göra till dagens (gårdagens) utmaning, så istället visar jag er en gammal design - water marble art, fint enligt mig!

Busy

Have been a little busy the last days, and are having problem figuring out what kind of "delicate print" I'm going to do. But I'm alive, and will be back soon. Probably tonight!

Day 14: Flowers

I have done these roses before, I really like them, that's why I decided to make them again today. They are easy to do and look great. It didn't turn out as good as they did the first time I did them, but I don't have enough time to remake them.

Jag har gjort de här rosorna förut, jag gillar dem så därför bestämde jag mig för att göra dem idag igen. De är enkla att göra och när man lyckas så är de snygga. Tyvärr blev det inte så bra idag som första gången jag gjorde dem, men jag har inte tid att göra om dem.

Day 13: Animal Print

 

Todays challenge was to make an animal print. I have done leopard and zebra before, so I decided to try something new - COW! What do you think? Haha. 

Dagens utmaning var att göra ett djurmönster. Eftersom jag har gjort leopard och zebra förut så bestämde jag mig för att göra något nytt - KOSSAMU! Vad tycker ni? Haha.

New in!

Wine and beer with a couple of girlfriends tonight. So, of course I had to use my new varnish tonight! It's MNY #265. Definitely a candidate for the Christmas Eve!

I love the color, it's shiny and sparkly, but the texture was pretty hard to work with, it's so loose and sheer that I had to be really concentrated not to paint my cuticles. And I had to use 3 layers to get it cover. What do you think?

Vin och öl med några tjejkompisar ikväll. Så självklart ville jag inviga mitt nya lack ikväll. Det är från MNY och är nummer 265. Definitivt en kandidat till att användas på julafton.

Jag älskar färgen, den skiner och glittrar, men konsistensen var svår att arbeta med. Lacket var så löst och tunnt att jag verkligen fick koncentrera mig för att det inte skulle rinna ner över nagelbanden. Och det behövdes 3 lager för att vara täckande. Vad tycker ni?

Day 12: Stripes

Okay, the best I could do wasn't to paint the stripes on freehand, but I was to lazy to cut out tapestripes. It's good enough today. I used different basecolors to make it a little bit funnier. Now I have to find out what to do on tomorrows challenge.

Ja ni, det bästa jag kunde göra var ju inte att göra ränderna på frihand, men jag var helt enkelt för lat för att klippa ut tejpbitar, det får helt enkelt duga idag. För att göra det lite roligare använde jag olika basfärger. Nu ska jag fundera på vad jag ska göra på morgondagens utmaning.

Day 11: Polka dots

Dots on your nails is a very easy way to get funny nails without hard work. I decided to use pink as a base color and white and silver for the dots. To see another manicure with dots I have made, click here!

Prickiga naglar är ett enkelt sätt att göra naglarna lite roligare. Jag använde rosa som botten och vitt och silver till prickarna. 

Day 10: Gradient nails

I actually didn't know how to do this. And after a friend told me that she looked forward to the challenge for today I felt the pressure, haha. On the first picture you can se what I did, and what a mess! First I used a gold/silver metallic polish on my tips and on top of that I used a glitter polish. No words needed... I must have used too much glitter, my nails looked like mountains because of the many layers. The second picture shows the gradient nails I did a long time ago, sorry 'bout the mess.

Efter att en kompis sa att hon såg fram emot dagens utmaning kände jag pressen, haha. På den första bilden ser ni vad jag gjorde idag, vilken röra! Först använde jag ett guld/silver metallic nagellack på "topparna", och över det lackade jag på ett silverlack. Jag måste ha använt för mycket glitter, för mina naglar blev tjocka och bulliga. På den andra bilden kan ni se "gradient nails" som jag gjorde för flera månader sen. Jag ber om ursäkt för kladdet, hehe.

Got tired of the rainbows and decided to try the same as I did yesterday, but with different colors. What do you think? I love it!
Tröttnade på regnbågarna och bestämde mig för att prova samma sak som igår, fast med andra färger. Vad tycker ni? Jag älskar det!

 

Day 9: Rainbow nails

I've tried this design before, I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. It's to simple and tame. But, I didn't know what else to do, so... here you go!

Jag har gjort det här förut, jag gillade inte designen då och jag gillar den inte nu. Den är för "enkel" och färglös. Men jag kom inte på något annat att göra så... varsågoda!

I got the nail strip with the mail today, so I had to try this! I first saw it on MyAwesomeBeauty and it was love at first sight. Pretty nice, don't you think? The colors are a little darker on the picture than they are in real life. 

Day 8: Metallic nails

First of all I have to say that I really had to struggle to find any metallic varnish at home. The first one I found was the OPI varnish I have showed you before, but I wanted to show you a new one. So, after a time searching in my varnish box, I found this one:

Jag hade problem att hitta något metallic lack hemma. Det första jag hittade har jag redan visat er, och eftersom jag ville visa något nytt fick jag leta vidare. Efter ett tag hittade jag det här:

It's Depend nr 86, I got this nail polish as a present on my birthday in March, and I don't think that I have used it before. It's a little too light for my taste, but it's okay for today. I had to use three layers to get it to cover.

Depend nummer 86, fick det i present när jag fyllde år i mars, tror inte jag har använt det förut. Det är lite för svagt och ljust för min smak, men det får duga idag. Fick använda 3 lager för att få det täckande.

It's time for me to start to take my obsession of nail polish seriously. That's why I have started this blog where I'm going to publish new nail polishes, pictures, nail arts and stuff like that. Because I have written a bunch of blogposts about nail polish and nail art in my other blog (lolofication), I will move them to this blog. They will appear before this post because I have decided to publish them at the same date that I originally posted them.

However, I would apologize right now for most images are not especially picturesque, I promise that there will be improvement to come!

Det är dags att börja ta min besatthet av nagellack seriöst. Därför har jag valt att skapa den här bloggen där jag kommer att lägga ut nya nagellack, bilder, nageldesigner och liknande. Eftersom jag har skrivit inlägg i min andra blogg (lolofication) som handlar om naglar och nagellack, kommer jag att flytta dem hit. Day 7: Black and white nails

I've been thinking back and forth about today's challenge. What could I do? Halfmoon? Pandas? Something simple who had black and white in it? I decided to do both halfmoon and pandas. On the thumbs I have the pandas, and on the rest of my fingers I have the halfmoon mani. 

I used:

Mavala - White, H&M - Manhunter och Seche Vite dry fast topcoat.

Topcoat

Have had a headache off and on the whole day. Not fun! Have spent a few hours on a useless lecture, and at least as many hours with my nails. Fixed, file, oiled, varnished. Has to say that the topcoat from Seche Vite probably is the best in the world! And yes, quite expensive - 129 kr at Kicks. However, worth every penny! All layers with varnish dries in seconds...

Day 6: Violet nails

MNY nr 445, H&M - Manhunter, H&M - Fashionista, KIKO nr 278

Violet is the color of the day. I started off with two layers of H&M's Fashionista. Like before, I thought it was boring with one colored nails, that's why I tried to do Nailsides Explosion. It wasn't as easy as I first thought, so I decided   to only have it on one nail and the rest got a violet glittery french tip. For this I used KIKOs nr 278.

Day 5: Blue nails

Oh, this challenge hottest nails/varnish. Fell in love with this beautiful polish from KleanColor.

First I painted my nails with Depend nr 246, a creamy baby blue varnish that I never have used before, I think? On top of that I used my new varnish Disco Ball from KleanColor. How nice?!


The first picture is taken out when the clouds covered the sun, the other in direct sunlight, thereof the lighting differences.

Day 4: Green nails

I thought it was so boring with one colored nails so I decided to fix a little extra for todays challenge. 

I got inspired by Nailside. The green varnish is greener in reality than the pic is showing. For the "flash" I used a gold varnish from H&M to get a greater contrast.

Day 3: Yellow nails

Yellow nails is super hot in the summer, unfortunately I don't have any yellow varnish that I really love! Below you can see the three yellow varnishes I have right now.

Since I'm not quite fond of any varnish, I decided to top with a glitter varnish. First I used MNY nr 749 and on top of that I used NYX nr 168. Unfortunately the picture doesn't give the glitter any justice, it varies in different shades, but maybe you can imagine? ;)

Day 2: Orange nails

I have a little more time than usual a free day like this. Therefore I managed to paint the nails to orange. Although  I hardly use orange varnish, I have collected quite a bit.

I choosed to use Loreal Resist & Shine nr. 450. Fine creamy texture and the varnish becomes perfectly clear orange.

Day 1: Red nails

A soft start with one colored nails. I actually thinks it's a little bit boring, but if you have a list to full you should...

I actually thought that I had more red varnishes than I have, but these will least a few rounds.

For todays challenge I used Depend nr 40, it's a perfect bright red color if you ask me. However, the picture is a little bit brighter than the reality. 

30 day challenge - nails

I steal the idea from Myawesomebeauty, this will be fun! I can tell you right now that I probably won't be able to paint my nails every day, but I will get through the list. How long it takes? Don't know.
